TLC employees Kevin Phillips and Kristy Rutland get pansies and mums ready to sell while customer Jennifer Smith picks out pansies for her flower beds. TLC had more than $140,000 in damage to their greenhouses when four of them burned in February. The greenhouses have been rebuilt and TLC is ready for the holidays with fresh, cut trees arriving the day after Thanksgiving and poinsettias growing in the greenhouses.

The volunteer organizer of the sale did some quick arithmetic the day after Christmas and realized four Christmas trees “disappeared” since the Jaycees lot closed for the season Dec. 23.
